Client preparation is a key component of any photography shoot. From architecture and real estate photography to products and events, a client that is prepared helps save time, money and gets the job done right.

Your guide to a successful photography shoot - what you should prepare:

Getting Ready

Staging

Make sure your subject looks its best! Clean and stage as needed to help showcase the main subject.

Lighting

Turn on enough lights to make a room well lit. Open window coverings to let natural light into the space.

Pets

Remove all pets from the shooting location.

Products

Identify each product separately. Note any special features that you want photographed.

Events & Travel

Provide a brief description of the event or travel destination, number of people involved, location, date, time, form of transportation, specific gear or equipment essential for the project, and any other information to better suit the photographer for the session.
